A zero vote based on principle

It looks like your great at making clay movies, but I had to give you a zero based on principle. 1. It's not a flash, it's just a bunch of pictures of clay, it's a flipbook. 2. There's no story, it's just like random stuff you did. 3. It wasn't very entertaing at all. That's great your good at flipbooks, I don't care.

If you had only 2 of the 3 I might have considered giving the movie a 3 or 4, but since you have all 3, I'm afraid I have to give the movie a zero.

Congratulations! You're a racist!

First off, Kanye West never said George Bush hates black people, he said George Bush doesn't care about black people. For getting the quote wrong that was central to your short pointless flash you deserve a zero.

Though besides the quote, this was racist, whether you want to admit it or not. And don't even try to put yourself in the same category as Dave Chappelle. Idiots like you are the reason he quit his show.

You think because Chappelle did some great sketches exploring and making fun of stereotypes, it's all right for you to spread your bigotry. Your reinforcing stereotypes, it's not comedy, it's just racism.

Bottom line, it was short, stupid, and not funny. If I wanted to hear the opinion about how black people are angry, irrational, and demand reperations, I could have just gone to the Ku Klux Klan's site.

I knew the quote fine. I exaggerated it. That's called comedy.
Making fun of sterotypes is funny... it's called comedy.
If a white guy talks about rednecks, it's funny. If a black guy talks about niggers, it's funny.
But OH NO! When a white guy points out the obvious... he's a racist. It's funny how most black people found this funny, and most white people find this racist. Decent

One of the few stick movies I didn't vote to blam. What was the music playing during the movie? It sounds familiar, I just can't remember the name. The credits went too fast at the end for me to read, and you gave no audio credit for your submission page.

Questions

Why is it so dark? He's happy and dancing, but he's in total shade, the room is completely dark. Why are you constantly filming to his back with a 3/4 body shot. What are you trying to say by having a real close up then far away shot at his back.

For a good filmaker, every single shot, every angle, every second, every item in the shot has a distinct purpose. You want to manipulate the audience into thinking/feeling what you want them to.

Also, don't have your friends act. They can't act. The close up shots of their facial expresions just looked stupid.

Also, I have no clue what just happened in your movie, and it got really tedious.

I can answer all your questions quite simply. The filming was not done by a person. My brother, the dancing kid, made this entire movie himself, from filming to editing, and the girl at the end is my little sister. Also, the facial expressions are supposed to be stupid. Duh.

[World War 1 Propaganda]

Good for a class project

Not as good as it could have been though. Cmon, your project is to create propaganda, there is so much more you could have done. Make the germans look like evil gorillas lurking in the shadows to kill Americans on a picnic. 2 of the things you showed were real events (well, one of them is questionable.) Propaganda films are made to demonize someone or something, and scare the crap out of people. You didn't scare anyone into fighting the germans. Also, war propaganda should be more American, more patriotic.

The cheap laugh with the name tag was kind of pointless. Also your voice is kinda annoying, sorry.
